Justin Fredrick-King appears to have everything, he comes from a rich, well-respected family and can have anything he wants. But behind closed doors his family is not as great as it would seem. Feeling shunned and unwanted, Justin has grown up with a warped idea of love and friendship. When a strange presence arrives in the sky and people start dying, Justin is left to figure out just who he really loves and how many lies he's been told - by himself as well as others.
I started this novel not long after seeing "War of the Worlds". It greatly inspired me to write an apocalyptic story with an alien element. It started out as a story about family corruption and I'm still not quite sure where it ended. I very much liked the ambiguous ending.
