This is the third book set in the fictional town of "Olimpia Valley". It is a dark and violent future world, where there is a long-fought war raging between the civilians and gangs. The book starts with a violent attack on the town where there are many deaths; the town is ripped apart by bombs and war. Six months later the story continues, following the lives of five different characters, all intimately connected to one another. Though the love between them has turned to hatred they are forced to come together to rescue the town, each feeling indebted to Olimpia Valley for their own reasons. But through secrets and lies the town is soon under attack again but whether from an old enemy or new only one character truly knows.

The time and place this book is set in was an idea I have used for two previous books. I don't think the writing in the two previous books is good enough for publication but I adored the characters and the world they are set in and so decided to try for a third book, due to some very persistent nagging from my sister who always liked the "Olimpia Valley" stories. I started the book in April 2007. The title will probably change by the time the book is completed.
