It follows the story of seventeen-year-old, Sean Miles. He is keeping a very dark secret about himself and through new friend, Tobey Blood, he learns about his true identity. But it is quickly revealed to him that others in his life have been keeping their own secrets from him, too.

This novel started out as a series of chapters that I noted down over two years ago. I thought it would be a fiction story about the abuses of alcohol but when I began writing it full-time a fantasy element became aparent and it took on a whole new story. I loved the contrast of the brightness at the beginning of the book to the darkness at the end.
