"Aquilus" is a story set in a future world. A war was called on the earth, planes attacked from above and an unknown and unexpected beast attacked from below. The Aquilus is a doorway to another dimension and it wants to swallow the earth. A man is born who has the strength and ability to destroy it but no-one knows the secret to its undoing. So a group of fighters band together to help the gifted man to fight off the beasts and monsters that the Aquilus spews out.
This book was started as I drew near to completing "
Rehabilitating the Enemy" in February 2004. It encompasses two of my most favourite story ideas: a dark futuristic world set in the backdrop of a time where technology and money has no place or future.
